Not too many companies are doing it, but we do.
Producing an event can require huge amounts of capital, planning and staff. But how do you get the word out while it is happening? Can you depend on the people attending your event to post selfies that advertise the action at your event?
Not really, which is why we’ve developed a method to do it ourselves.
Take NCA Cycling, our client, who produced the return of Six Day racing in the United States for the first time.
Many people interested in the track cycling event were not able to attend. So Strategic Marketing Solutions used Facebook to keep them updated all the time.
That meant in addition to posting photos of the competitors in off-hours, in practice, and when they were goofing off at the hotel, we also produced minute by minute news on Facebook about each race–for three whole days straight.
Our followers were mostly people overseas who had no opportunity to travel to California. Especially on the third day of racing, that audience did not have access to broadcasted video of the event that was set for the final day.
We also produced foreign language versions of the event.
When producing an important event that you want to be seen all around the world, hire Strategic Marketing Solutions for onsite special news coverage.
